How do I become a member of DD:
So you want to become a Diva- registration is the easy part!
At the top of the forums page on the menu bar, a button says register. Click on the word “register.” Or click this link. http://www.declutterdivas.com/forums/register.php? A screen that asks for your birthday pops up.
Now why do we want your birthday?
Well, it is a legal thing to make sure that we comply with a law that protects minors. We don’t discriminate against anyone due to age- we just need to make sure that we cover the bases. If you need more information check here:

After filling in your age you will then go to a screen that give our rules and it will ask you to agree or if you don’t agree. If you want to cancel there is a highlighted area that when you click on it will return you to the forum index. However, if you want to continue with the registration process be sure to check the box that states that you “have read and agreed” before you click on the register box.
So the next page is the real meat and potatoes of the registration process:
You need to choose a user name, supply and confirm your password and email address. There is one of the funky image verification boxes that we have to make sure that you are not an alien from Mars. The other questions are optional: you don’t have to make your birthday public if you don’t want to. The weather information is so that when you go to our forum home page you will see your weather forecast-(or someone else’s if you wish). We always like to know if who told you about our site and that information will show up in your profile. You can selection your time so that your time will match the time on the bottom of each page. If you wish not to get email from Divas its ok- but you will miss out on our monthly newsletter and any site information that we send out.
And that is it! You have taken those baby steps towards getting something different in your life!

You can also start by reading the welcome thread of the sections that interest you. We are rather informal about posting. Once you join DeDivas, you will have access to the Archives, or The Basement as we call it, which have an amazing amount of information.

As you may notice our forum is set-up in a house plan based system. Our Forums are grouped by “rooms.”

The Diva Pet:  The place for discussion about the furry members of our family.

Toolbox & DIY Divas:  To help with those home improvement/repair projects & tool related questions. Hopefully, provide a little education too.

Creative Diva ~ Crafts & Hobbies:  The crafts and hobbies forum is here to serve the members of Declutter Divas in enjoying their free time that is freed up from decluttering and organizing their lives. What ever craft and/or hobby that a member enjoys they can come and talk

Hopefully this list will help you to become familiar with our forum if you have any more questions please do not hesitate to PM (Private Message, a type of internal email) a Moderator or the AOD (Administrator On Duty).

Why do you need donations:
Why does anyone need money? There are bills to pay. We have the server fees, software updates, and a couple small fees that are part of the nuts and bolts of running a site.

None of the mods or administrators is paid. We have not used the funds to party on when we go to Divavention. It is all about nuts and bolts.

The reason why we ask for donations is that we are trying to remain advertising free. There are no pop up ads, no “click on this ad “ that will take you to another site and there is no way that any of us are pushing a book, broom or cleaning solution for money. If anyone endorses something on this site, it is a personal endorsement for the good of the group and involves no money towards Divas.

However, there are perks!

If you want to pay .50 a month, you can upload your own avatar, have membership in the Tiki Lounge, or have a Diva’s Email account. If you want to do all three, it is $1.25 a month (that is a whopping $15.00 a year for all three).
